How to Check Your Roblox Gift Card Balance (2026 Guide)
A verified, step-by-step walkthrough to view your Roblox Credit balance in a web browser, redeem a gift card code at roblox.com/redeem, and turn Credit into Robux โ plus the one thing that confuses almost everyone: why the balance doesn't show up in the Roblox app.
Check your balance on the redemption page
Roblox's own terms point to one canonical place for a balance inquiry: the gift card redemption page. To see it:
- Open Roblox in a web browser โ on a computer or in your phone's browser, but not the Roblox app.
- Log in to the account where the gift card was redeemed.
- Go to roblox.com/redeem.

Check in Billing Settings
The same balance is also visible in your account settings:

If you don't see a credit balance on either page, Roblox says that means the account currently has no gift card Credit redeemed onto it. Redeem a new gift card code (optional)
Scratch off the strip on the back of the card to reveal the code, then:

Where's the redeem option in the app? There isn't one โ Roblox confirms redemption is not available in the standard mobile app or on consoles. The single exception is the Samsung Galaxy version of the app, which has a Redeem tile on the More page. Everyone else uses a browser.
Convert your Credit to Robux (optional)
Roblox Credit doesn't buy items directly inside experiences โ for that you need Robux. Converting is a one-minute job:
- Log in (browser again) and go to roblox.com/redeem.
- Select Get Robux. Roblox pre-selects the largest Robux package your Credit balance covers.
- Want a different package? Go to roblox.com/upgrades/robux instead and choose there, paying with Credit at checkout.
- Click Buy and confirm.

One important exception: Amazon-purchased digital Roblox cards and โParty Packโ cards are denominated in Robux, not currency. The browser-only rule is worth repeating because it's the number-one support complaint: gift card Credit can only be viewed and used in a web browser. The app showing no balance is normal, not a lost card.
Troubleshooting
โInvalid codeโ errors
Roblox codes mix letters and numbers that look alike, and the misreads are predictable. Roblox's own suggested substitutions: 0 โ O, 1 โ I (capital i), 2 โ Z, 5 โ S, 6 โ G or Q, and 8 โ B. Re-type the code trying those swaps before assuming the card is bad.
